When you make sense to yourself, hope becomes possible.

I help women who no longer recognise themselves rebuild inner stability, so they can find themselves again.

Do you have a quiet knowing that this isn’t how you’re meant to feel?

When you no longer recognise yourself, it is easy to lose hope that things can change.

You might look like you are holding everything together on the outside. But on the inside, you feel anxious, confused, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted and disconnected from ‘you’.

You don’t understand what’s happening.

You just know this isn’t you.

Where your sense of safety lives changes everything.

Sometimes we unknowingly build our sense of safety in things outside of ourselves. When those things change, it’s easy to feel like we’ve lost ourselves too.

I call this External Scaffolding.

It’s the tendency to look outside yourself for the sense of safety that can only be built within you. Sometimes that looks like relying on relationships, jobs, achievement, success, being busy, being needed, certainty or control.

The problem isn’t these things. It’s that they are not yours to control.

Inner stability begins when the place you look for safety becomes something no one can take away.

Step into the Purpose Lived Pathway; the path to inner stability.

An embodied, four-step mind, body, spirit practice that helps you make sense of your experience, rebuild inner stability, and reconnect to your authentic self.

When safety lives inside you, you begin to feel like yourself again.

Feeling stable isn’t about controlling your life. It’s about changing the place you use to feel safe.

As you build the capacity to feel safe within yourself, your nervous system naturally begins to regulate.

As your body regulates, your mind becomes clearer, you reconnect with your inner wisdom, and you begin to trust yourself again.

When you no longer rely on External Scaffolding to feel safe, you no longer lose yourself when life changes.

I call this the ‘Anatomy of Inner Stability’; a framework for understanding how internal safety creates natural regulation, allowing authentic self expression and a life lived with purpose.

  • Alysia is one of my go-to practitioners when I need support - she’s incredible at what she does, and every session I have with her I uncover and shift something. I realised after a few sessions that I ‘unconsciously’ relax when I’m in session with her because I feel so safe and held. She has such a passion for and knowledge of the healing arts, and her NUSA method is phenomenal! Definitely worth trying it out!

  • My sessions with Alysia were thoughtful, reflective and educational. She understands that there is no "one-size fits all" and she really takes the time to understand your needs. I am surprised by how much of myself I have learned and discovered in the sessions that I have had with her and would absolutely recommend Alysia to anyone who is looking for change.

  • The work I did with Alysia was truly transformational. Her gentle, kind, and insightful guidance helped me find the courage to look inward and, for the first time, choose me. Through our sessions, I uncovered patterns and memories that had quietly shaped how I saw myself and the world. For the first time, I made sense to myself. If you’re ready to move beyond surface-level solutions and truly come home to yourself, I cannot recommend Alysia highly enough.

  • Thank you Alysia for your incredible insights and powerful gift in helping me understand me. I loved how you explained the nervous system and neurobiology so simply so I could understand why I found it so hard to feel calm. For the first time in a very long time, I don't feel like I am in a fight with myself. Thank you! x

  • Alysia is a wise, compassionate, intuitive, and highly skilled guide in her work. Throughout our series of sessions, she gently and expertly guided me into the depths of my inner world, helping me to uncover and release long-held wounds and energetic blocks that had been limiting my fullest expression. With her grounded presence and attuned support, I was able to clear space for the emergence of my deepest authenticity. Alysia brought a sense of ease, safety, and warmth to each session, making the process of inner transformation not only powerful but also profoundly empowering. Her presence throughout this journey was simultaneously anchoring and expansive. She holds space with such grace and presence, allowing deep healing and meaningful, sustainable change to unfold.

Ways to work with me:

Two pathways. One inner return.

Perhaps you recognise yourself here:

Life has changed.

  • A relationship ended

  • Your career shifted

  • Your children need you less

  • Your family dynamic changed

And now so has your role in life. And ever since then, you’ve had a quiet feeling that you’re somehow lost.

  • You don’t feel like yourself anymore

  • You keep thinking “what is wrong with me?”

  • You feel anxious, confused, overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted

  • You’re desperately trying to get back to who you used to be

  • You know this is not how you’re meant to feel

  • You just want to feel like yourself again

You keep trying to rebuild your life, but somehow you still don’t feel like ‘you’.

Here’s the truth: Nothing about your experience is random. When it starts to make sense, a different way forward becomes possible.

Meet the Founder

/ Alysia James

Alysia spent most of her life believing she just needed to try harder.

She became the capable one. The one who could hold everything together and manage it all. She was the achiever and the work horse.

What she didn’t realise was that she had unknowingly built her sense of safety in the external. Her sense of safety was held in relationships, her jobs, achievements and staying busy; staying ‘on’.

The strategy worked brilliantly, until it didn’t.

When the external scaffolding collapsed, so did her sense of safety. Without anywhere left to hide, she found herself overwhelmed with anxiety, confusion and a quiet desire to tap out of life.

What she couldn’t see at the time was that beneath her manufactured sense of safety was a nervous system living in terror. Learning how to build inner stability instead of better external scaffolding changed everything.

That journey became the foundation for Purpose Lived Co.

Today, Alysia helps other women build internal safety, cultivate inner stability and reconnect with their authentic and empowered sense of self.
